Who Runs WeGrow

WeGrow is operated by Jad El Omeiri, who is currently responsible for how WeGrow uses personal data. If this changes, this policy will be updated. For privacy questions, email hello@trywegrow.com. You can also contact jad@trywegrow.com.

What We Collect

When you create or use an owner account, WeGrow may collect your name, email address, basic account and sign-in activity, business and contact details, and the messages you send us. We also keep the website content you create or edit, and any business photos or other media you upload.

When you send a preview request or other enquiry, WeGrow may collect the contact and business details you provide. This can include your name, business name, email address, optional phone number, business, profile or website links, location or business type, and your goals or message. If you book a call through Google Calendar, Google may handle the booking and call details.

If you subscribe to Presence, Stripe handles payment through its hosted Checkout. WeGrow does not store full card details. We keep the billing and subscription information needed to operate your Presence subscription.

If you send an enquiry through a client Presence website, WeGrow stores the enquiry and forwards it by email to the reviewed recipient address for that business.

Why We Collect It

We use this information to create and run accounts and websites, respond to enquiries, process Presence subscriptions, provide customer support, send service notifications, improve the website and product, and keep basic business records.

We do not sell personal data.

Our Lawful Reasons

In plain English, WeGrow uses personal data when it is needed to respond to your request, create and run your account or website, provide services under a contract, process a Presence subscription, meet legal obligations where records must be kept, or support WeGrow's legitimate interests in running and improving the service and managing enquiries.

Trusted Providers

WeGrow uses trusted providers to run the service. Supabase provides account authentication and database infrastructure. Stripe provides hosted Checkout and subscription billing. Cloudflare stores uploaded business media. We also use Vercel for hosting, Resend for email notifications, and Google Workspace for email and calendar services.

These providers may process data in the UK, EEA, US, or other countries. Where data is processed internationally, WeGrow relies on the provider's published safeguards and standard protections for handling personal data.

Cookies And Analytics

We use PostHog EU Cloud for basic cookieless statistical analytics on WeGrow-owned public pages. This does not use PostHog browser persistence or create a PostHog person profile. You can turn analytics off here at any time. We do not use advertising tracking.

Our first founder-recruited owners are told directly that their authenticated WeGrow account use may be identified and recorded for product research. On the account home, website editor, website actions and help pages, replay may be used with form inputs and deliberately masked sensitive content excluded. Replay is not used for enquiries, login/password/recovery, payments, admin or founder owner-view, customer Business Sites, or custom-domain sites. Owners can ask us to stop analytics recording at hello@trywegrow.com.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep enquiries for as long as reasonably needed to reply, manage the relationship, and keep basic business records. If an enquiry does not become an active project, we aim to delete or review it within 24 months.

We keep account and website information while it is needed to run the service. Billing and subscription information may be kept for longer where needed to operate Presence, keep business, accounting or tax records, deal with legal obligations, or resolve a dispute.

Your Rights

You can ask to access the personal data WeGrow holds about you, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict how it is used, or receive a copy in a portable format where this applies. Email hello@trywegrow.com.

If you are unhappy with how a privacy request is handled, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
