About WeGrow

Founder-led. Cardiff-rooted. Built for businesses that want real growth, not agency theatre.

WeGrow was created by Jad El Omeiri, a Lebanese software engineer, former startup CTO, and product builder based in Cardiff, to help local businesses get found, trusted, and contacted online.

After years building products, marketplaces, and platforms across startups, SMEs, consultancies, and larger companies, Jad built WeGrow as a more practical kind of partner: clear pricing, useful websites, lead capture, tracking, and incentives that can align around real enquiries.

"I built WeGrow because local businesses deserve practical growth support, not agency theatre."

    Why Cardiff

The first place in the UK where I did not just feel at home — I felt like I belonged.

I'm Lebanese, and I've lived in the UK for around 12 years. The UK became home in many ways, but Cardiff felt different from day one.

Here, I felt welcomed. I felt part of something. I did not feel like a second-class citizen. There is something in Wales — the pride of place, the community, the resilience, the refusal to lose identity — that felt deeply familiar to the values I was raised with in Lebanon.

That matters to WeGrow. This is not a faceless digital business that could be anywhere. It starts in Cardiff because I believe in local identity, local businesses, and the people who keep a place alive.

    Rooted in Cardiff

WeGrow starts here, with businesses people actually walk past, visit, call, and recommend.

    Shaped by Lebanese values

Hospitality, family, pride, and looking after people nearby shape how WeGrow works.

    Built around community

Local businesses are not abstract clients. They are part of the place around us.

    Local identity matters

Place, culture, and character are worth protecting online as well as offline.

    Why WeGrow exists

Local businesses deserve more than websites that look finished but do not clearly help.

A website can be live and still fail at the basics: explaining what the business does, building trust, making contact easy, and showing whether enquiries are coming in.

Too many local businesses are asked to pay thousands upfront for work that is hard to update, hard to measure, and disconnected from real customer action.

WeGrow exists to make that simpler: start with a clear online presence, add enquiry capture and tracking when useful, keep pricing transparent, and keep incentives fair.

    Look credible when customers search

Before anyone calls, they check. What they find should match how good the business is in real life.

    Make contact easier

Calls, messages, bookings, and quote requests should be obvious next steps, not hidden tasks.

    Avoid big upfront agency costs

Clear monthly pricing gives businesses a lower-risk way to improve their online presence.

    Understand real enquiries

When the business is ready, focus on the customer actions that matter instead of vanity metrics.

    Upgrade only when useful

Start with what is practical today, then grow into more support when there is a clear reason.

    Founder story

Built by someone who has spent years turning ideas into working products.

I've spent around 12 years building software products, marketplaces, web platforms, and business systems. Not just slides. Not just strategies. Real products that people use.

I co-founded SportSession, a sports-tech marketplace built to help sports coaches get clients so they could focus on what they loved most: coaching. We grew the platform to around 1,500 coaches and treated them like partners, because helping them grow meant SportSession grew too.

I also built products and MVPs for startups and SMEs through Beyond Scopes, worked as a delivery consultant, and later worked at MOO on a high-traffic ecommerce platform across search, browsing, CMS, performance, migrations, and architecture.

That mix shaped how I think: technology only matters if it helps the business move forward.

SportSession taught me something I still believe: when you help skilled people get clients and do more of the work they love, everyone grows.

    Bias for action

    Momentum matters.

    Anti-stagnation

Across almost every role, I found myself becoming the person who unblocked projects, created momentum, and moved things forward.

I do not believe in hiding behind complexity, endless planning, or beautiful documents that never become useful work. Stagnation kills good ideas.

WeGrow is built around the opposite: start simple, ship what is useful, learn from real customers, and improve what actually matters.

    Start simple

Ship something useful before perfecting it.

    Move quickly

    Momentum beats endless planning.

    Improve what matters

Iterate on what real customers actually do.

    Avoid unnecessary complexity

    Don't sell complication as value.

    Keep momentum

Stagnation is the enemy of good ideas.

    What felt broken

A lot of "partner" talk is not real partnership.

I've seen how agencies and consultancies can talk about partnership while their incentives are not really aligned with the client.

Too often, the model rewards complexity: bigger scopes, longer projects, unclear retainers, more meetings, more dependency, and work that keeps going without anyone asking whether it is creating real value.

That never sat right with me.

A real partner should not win from your confusion, dependency, or never-ending project work.

A real partner should care whether more of the right people are calling, messaging, booking, requesting quotes, and becoming customers.

    Principles

The rules WeGrow is built on.

    01

    Less is more

Most businesses need clarity before complexity.

    02

    Simple solutions work

A clear page that makes people call, message, book, or enquire is better than a bloated site nobody understands.

    03

    Consistency is key

Your website, Google profile, links, and contact journey should work together.

    04

    Continuous improvement matters

Start with what is useful, learn from real enquiries, and improve what matters.

    05

    Honesty over theatre

No vague agency language, false promises, or pretending vanity metrics are growth.

    06

Technical quality should serve the business

Good engineering matters when it makes the product faster, clearer, and easier to improve.

    Built for local businesses

For the businesses people actually walk past, visit, call, and recommend.

WeGrow starts with Cardiff and local independent businesses because these are not abstract clients. They are cafes, clinics, barbers, salons, trades, studios, restaurants, shops, and services that shape the places we live.

The goal is not to make them look like generic online brands. The goal is to help them look as trustworthy online as they are in real life.
